Egg Marketing Awards - The Golden Egg and Crystal Egg Awards

How to take part in the Showcase for Marketing Eggscellence - Competing for The Golden Egg and The Crystal Egg Awards.

The purpose of The Marketing Showcase is to allow egg industry professionals to share ideas and knowledge on successful approaches used in the marketing and promotion of eggs.

The IEC presents two separate awards for marketing:

The Golden Egg Award - for the best national marketing & promotional campaign submitted by a country association.
The Crystal Egg Award - for the best company marketing & promotional campaign submitted by a company.

How to take part in the Showcase for Marketing Eggscellence:

Prepare a 10-minute visual presentation

To enter the Showcase for Marketing Eggscellence you will need to prepare a visual presentation lasting no longer than 10 minutes to give an overview of your marketing program and send it to the IEC office before the conference.

There are many excellent marketing programs being conducted by countries and egg companies internationally, and this is a great opportunity for both participants and conference delegates to learn about new ideas.

In order to make this event enjoyable and informative, it is important to remember that the presentations should not be a speech but a visual representation of your marketing program shown on video, DVD, slides, and/or PowerPoint.

The Showcase program is divided into two categories so both the outstanding country and egg company will receive awards - the Golden Egg Award and the Crystal Egg Award, respectively.

Promote new products

With egg companies producing more and more speciality and branded shell egg products, this is a chance to feature your company’s marketing campaign.

Similarly, several countries are conducting very effective public relations, promotions, education, and/or advertising campaigns. These well-structured public relations or educational campaigns can bring very successful results and are the kinds of programs that need to be presented. It is not necessary to have a huge budget and sophisticated advertising program. Every country has an interesting and informative story to tell.

Please note we only require a 10-minute brief overview of the marketing effort, including strategy, target audience, and effectiveness of campaign.

Promote your companies products throughout the IEC Conference

A free display table is given to each country or company competing for the Golden Egg Award or the Crystal Egg Award.
