IEC Committees - How to take part

This section gives details of the structure of IEC committees and how you can take an active part in the discussions and actions related to each Committee subject.

IEC Committee Structure

There are two types of Committee within the IEC: "Administrative Commitees" and "Ad-hoc Working Commitees"

 

Becoming an IEC Committee Member

Any current / paid-up member of the IEC can serve on any of the IEC Ad hoc Committees, that are set up by the IEC Council for specialist studies, such as International Trade or Marketing.

 

Participating in IEC Committee Meetings

All IEC Ad hoc committees are open to any delegates attending an IEC conference.

 

What Can IEC Committees Do For You?

Taking part in IEC Committees gives you a unique opportunity to share information and shape international policy with other leaders in the world egg industry.

 

IEC Committee Elections

Elections for the Chair and Deputy Chair of each IEC Ad hoc Committee are held annually during the main IEC Conference.
