IEC Prague 2010 is going to be a truly great conference; inspirational speakers in one of Europe's most beautiful country's. To make sure that you get the most out of your visit to Prague and the Czech Republic, why not arrange some sightseeing tours before or after the conference.
We highly recommend visiting Karlovy Vary, a spa city situated to the West of Prague. Karlovy Vary is named after the King of Bohemia and Holy Roman Emperor Charles IV, who founded the city in 1370. It is famous for its hot springs; with 13 main springs, and around 300 smaller springs.
The city is also known for the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival, and has been used as the location for a number of films, including Last Holiday and Casino Royale. Both of these films featured the city's fabulous, Grandhotel Pupp, a 228 room luxury hotel.
If you would like to arrange private car transfers during your visit, Prague Airport Transport provides private car transfers from the airport to the hotel, and also offers individual guided tours of Czech Republic, including Kutna Hora, Karlovy Vary, Cesky Krumlov, Karlstein Castle. Other options and individual tours are catered for by Maxin Prague, an events management company, that provides professional, customised services for meetings, conferences and events.
