Regional Patterns of European Egg Production and Trade

Between 1990 and 2007, European egg production increased, although global market share decreased dramatically from 33.1% to 16.7%. European Union members experienced a combined decrease of 169,000 tonnes, while non-European Union members saw a combined increase of 535,000 tonnes.
