Sunday 24 September

17:00 Chairman’s Reception – Victoria Room, Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise

IEC Chairman, Greg Hinton invites all delegates and registered companions to join him as the global egg industry unites for the IEC Global Leadership Conference 2023!

Taking place overlooking the breathtaking Lake Louise, this 2-hour reception offers delegates a great opportunity to forge new business relationships and catch up with old friends before the conference begins.

Dress code: We recommend ‘mountain casual’ clothing for this reception.

Monday 25 September

08:20 Companion Tour (companions only)

Coaches will depart from the ‘Motorcoach Departure Area’, located outside the main entrance doors, exit left.

Soak up the scenery! Registered companions are invited on an unmissable tour of Lake Minnewanka, where they will experience a new perspective of the Rockies.

Taking in the incredible valley landscape on a guided boat cruise, companions will watch for wildlife and waterfalls, while learning about the native people. They will then have the opportunity to reflect on their shared Lake tour, with free time in Banff, before enjoying a relaxed, rustic Canadian lunch at the cosy Bluebird restaurant.

Companions can expect to arrive back at the conference hotel around 15.30.

Dress code: We recommend sensible footwear and suitable outdoor ‘mountain casual’ clothing for this tour, which will partially take place outdoors.

17:30 Chairman’s Dinner – Mount Temple Ballroom, Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise

Following the opening day of conference sessions, we invite delegates and registered companions to join us for our Chairman’s Dinner, where they will enjoy a drinks reception before sitting down for a superb 3-course dining experience, featuring Alberta beef and British Colombia wine.

Dress code: We recommend smart casual clothing for this dinner.

Tuesday 26 September

08:30 Companion Tour (companions only)

Coaches will depart from the ‘Motorcoach Departure Area’, located outside the main entrance doors, exit left.

Experience the natural beauty of Yoho! With another unique opportunity to take in the stunning scenery, registered companions will enjoy a mountain lakes and waterfall tour, exploring the incredible highlights of Yoho National Park.

Following a morning of towering mountain peaks and impressive waterfalls, lunch will be served, offering delicious food, wine and yet more unrivalled views.

Companions can expect the tour to be finished around 15:00.

Dress code: We recommend sensible footwear and suitable outdoor ‘mountain casual’ clothing for this tour, which will partially take place outdoors.

Wednesday 27 September

11:45 All Delegate and Companion Lunch – Victoria Room, Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise

Providing the perfect opportunity for networking and reflecting on the conference so far, delegates and registered companions are invited to a social afternoon in the heart of the Rockies.

This will commence with a group lunch overlooking the mesmerising Lake Louise for all delegates and companions in the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise Victoria Room.

From 13:00 All Delegate Rockies Experience, Banff

13:00 – 14:00 Coaches will depart from the ‘Motorcoach Departure Area’, located outside the main entrance doors, exit left.

Delegates and registered companions are invited to explore the Rockies, with a scenic drive to Banff, before taking a gondola ride to the Mount Sulphur summit, providing sweeping views of the surrounding landscape.

There will also be the opportunity to explore downtown Banff’s shops, trails and local museums.

From 17:15 Dinner in the Rockies, Mount View BBQ, Banff

17:15 – 17:45 Coach departure from Banff for Delegate Tour Dinner

Guests will be welcomed to Mount View Barbecue with drinks and interactive entertainment, including birds of prey and traditional lawn games – featuring a breathtaking mountain backdrop.

This cultural delegate experience will continue with a ‘BBQ rustic’ buffet & campfire s’mores, followed by live country music, drinks and line dancing with friends and colleagues.

Dress code: We recommend sensible footwear and suitable outdoor ‘mountain casual’ clothing for this social afternoon, which will partially take place in the mountainous outdoors.

20:30 – 22:00 Shuttle Coach service to Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise

Thursday 28 September

From 12:45 Lunch, Drinks & Closing Celebration, Lodge of 10 Peaks

12:45 – 13:15 Coaches will depart from the ‘Motorcoach Departure Area’, located outside the main entrance doors, exit left.

Savour the taste of Canada! To conclude our shared IEC Lake Louise experience, we invite delegates and registered companions to relax and unwind at the Lodge of 10 Peaks for our Closing celebration.

Guests will be transported across Canada at buffet stations and entertained by live music – not to be missed!

Attendees can choose to arrive back at the conference hotel anytime from 15:30 to 17:00.

Dress code: We recommend ‘mountain casual’ for this celebratory lunch.
