Established in 1964, the International Egg Commission (IEC) is a not-for-profit organisation that represents the egg industry internationally, with members in over 70 countries globally. The IEC’s members include national egg associations, egg farmers, egg graders and processors around the world. To support the development of our organisation and the broader egg industry, we require a detail-orientated administrator to join our team as we enter an exciting period of growth as we recommence our international events and conferencing programme.
High levels of administration and a willingness to take ownership of areas of work/decisions are key for this role. The ideal candidate will be dynamic, have excellent people skills and be adept at managing multiple workstreams.
This is a full-time office-based position providing high-level administrative support across all elements of the business which operates globally. This includes being responsible for the office building facility, as well as administration of executive board and committee group meetings, membership liaison, systems co-ordination, accounts support and company correspondence.
You will be a very important part of the IEC team with a high level of responsibility to action and administer work programmes. Initially, you will not have direct reports, however, there may be line-management opportunities for the right candidate as the organisation grows and develops.

- Taking responsibility for organising meetings for our executive board and multinational working groups virtually and in person – including diary liaison, drafting agendas and preparing minutes
- Managing the WEO Centre office building to ensure it is a safe and productive workspace for all staff members – ensuring personnel records, health and safety and other HR requirements are monitored and maintained
- Maintaining and administering manual and electronic systems, including our membership database systems – being the main point of contact for both existing and new membership enquiries, including processing membership invoices
