The Golden Egg Award is presented to the Country Association or Company that is judged to have delivered the best marketing and promotional campaign. The winning campaign may incorporate any or all parts of the marketing spectrum, including advertising, public relations, new media and point of sale.
There are many excellent marketing programmes being conducted by countries and egg companies internationally, and the Golden Egg Award provides a fantastic opportunity for entrants to promote egg marketing excellence and share best practice ideas to the international industry at our annual Global Leadership Conference. It is your opportunity to promote your marketing communication methods and demonstrate your success to other IEC members.
Prior to 2011 this award was only open to Country Associations but entry was extended to include all Producer Packer and Egg Processing member companies in 2011.

How to enter
Entry to this award will be opened annually in June, with entrants required to present their marketing campaign at the IEC Global Leadership Conference which takes every September.
Entrants are required to prepare a prepare a visual presentation lasting no longer than 10 minutes to give an overview of your marketing or CSR programme. In order to make this event enjoyable and informative, it is important to remember that the presentations should not be a speech but a visual representation of your marketing program shown on video, DVD, slides, and/or PowerPoint.
