IEC Welcomes New Chair

The IEC is excited to welcome and congratulate its new Chair, Juan Felipe Montoya Muñoz. With his extensive experience as President of the largest egg producer in Colombia, Juan Felipe brings a deep understanding of the industry and proven leadership.

The Chair handover took place during the Gala Dinner on the final night of the IEC Global Leadership Conference 2024. This special event, held in Venice, marked the 60th anniversary of the IEC.

Reflecting on his new Chairmanship, Juan Felipe said, “Today is a very special day for me. I am the first South American and the second Latin American to be the chairman of the board. This fills me with pride, but more than that, a great responsibility, because I have set some big goals for these two years.”

His passion for the industry and ambitious vision promise to drive the IEC’s growth and success during his tenure.

The IEC also extends sincere thanks to outgoing Chair Greg Hinton, acknowledging his dedication and invaluable contributions to the organisation during his term.
